Reno, Nevada

Web design for Reno businesses that outgrew their website.

Thomas and Jakob Beach design and build the site from Reno, NV, and Austin Whan keeps the project moving. It ends up in accounts your business owns, and your own staff can edit it after launch.

Who calls us

The websites people call about.

The site was built in 2016 by a freelancer who stopped answering email. The login is in his name, and the last change anyone managed was a holiday notice that is still up.

The owner cannot change a phone number on his own site without paying someone. Every edit is an invoice, so the site says whatever it said the last time somebody could justify the cost.

The site looks fine and generates nothing. It has a photo of the building and a form that sends to an inbox nobody checks, and nothing on it says what the company does in Reno.

What you get

Six things that ship with the site.

A site your own team can edit

A private content management system for your staff. They change a phone number, add a page, swap a photo, or post a testimonial without touching code or calling us. We train the people who will use it before launch.

Booking, uploads, and payments connected

Forms, bookings, file uploads, and card payments go into the tools your team already uses, so a request lands where the work gets done and a payment shows up where the books are kept.

Local search pages

A page for each service and each place you serve, so someone in Reno or Sparks searching for that service finds you. Structured data on every page tells Google what the business is and where it is.

Fast and readable on a phone

Static pages and images sized for the screen, so it loads fast and reads without pinching. Text and buttons meet the WCAG contrast requirement.

Hosting, domain, and logins in your name

The domain, the hosting account, the admin logins, and the documentation are created in accounts your business owns. If we part ways, you keep all of it.

Ongoing changes under Managed

A Managed agreement covers small changes each month, like a copy edit or a new page, and quotes larger work before it starts. Or buy the build as a Project and stop there.

How it works here

From the first call to the handover.

The first call

You tell us what the site has to do and show us the one you have. We ask who will edit it and what it connects to. We also ask where the domain and hosting live, since that decides a good part of the work. Thomas or Jakob takes the call and builds the site.

The written quote

You get one price and a schedule in writing before anything is built. The price is fixed, and if the scope grows we quote the change first. We use AI tools to assist with development and testing, and review the code before delivery. Our quoting process is on the pricing page.

The build

We build on a staging address, so you see the real site on your own phone before anyone else does. You send feedback there, and nothing goes live until you approve it. Old addresses redirect to the new pages, so saved links still work.

The handover

At launch, the site, the domain, the hosting account, and the admin logins are in your accounts. We train the people who will edit it and leave written instructions. From there you either stop, or move to Managed and we keep holding the site month to month.

A real example

One site live, one on staging.

Rose Law Nevada

The firm came to us for a website. We replaced the WordPress site with static pages and a private CMS, so staff update case results and testimonials without touching code. There is a page for each practice area and each Nevada location, plus Spanish-language pages and a connected intake process that feeds a lead pipeline the firm manages itself. It runs on AWS. Drag between the old site and the rebuild on our work page.

Mason's Yard Care

A Reno yard care company whose site needed booking. We rebuilt it with online booking and Spanish-language pages, and it sits on a staging address until the owner approves it and the domain moves, which is the order every build follows.

Questions people ask

Before you call.

How much does a website cost?

There is no rate card, because a five page site and a fifty page site are different jobs. You describe the site, we send one fixed price in writing, and nothing starts until you approve it. Read more on the pricing page.

How long does it take?

It depends on how many pages there are, what the site connects to, how much content moves over, and how quickly approvals come back. The schedule is in the written quote, with dates, and the staging address lets you see where the build stands at any point.

Can we edit it ourselves?

Yes. Every site comes with a private content management system, and we train the people who will use it. Text, photos, pages, testimonials, and results are yours to change. Anything that needs code is a small change under Managed or a quoted piece of work.

Who owns the site and the domain?

You do. The domain, the hosting account, the source code, and the admin logins are in your business's accounts from the start, and they stay yours if you stop working with us, along with the documentation.

What about our existing site and content?

We start by reading it. Content worth keeping moves over, and old addresses redirect to the new pages. Photos or copy you already paid for get reused where they are good. If someone else hosts the current site, we sort out access before launch so nothing goes dark when the domain moves.
